Why is that? - A set of colors closely approximated to the original color of the pigments used for images under an ancient fresco, enamel, Old Russian painting, with soft shades and bright contrasts of gilding or potali.

In the original techniques, such a choice of colors was due to their availability, and more frequent finding of minerals in the natural environment.

The colors do not fade with time, and when opened locally, they look great together.
